What vaccinations are provided free by the government?
The following vaccinations are available to our patients, and are free for certain groups due to Government subsidies:
- Influenza (over 65 years or those identified to be at risk)
- Hepatitis B (those identified to be at risk)
- Pneumococcal Vaccine (over 65 years, or at high risk)
- Shingles Vaccine (over 70 years, until 79 years)
What immunisations are recommended for adults?
- Flu vax annually
- Tetanus booster
- Measles, mumps, rubella booster
- Pertussis booster
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis A (for travel, or at risk)
- Chicken Pox (if not had it)
- Polio (booster for travel)
- Meningococcal
