What vaccinations are provided free by the government?

The following vaccinations are available to our patients, and are free for certain groups due to Government subsidies:

    • Influenza (over 65 years or those identified to be at risk)
    • Hepatitis B (those identified to be at risk)
    • Pneumococcal Vaccine (over 65 years, or at high risk)
    • Shingles Vaccine (over 70 years, until 79 years)

 

What immunisations are recommended for adults?

    • Flu vax annually
    • Tetanus booster
    • Measles, mumps, rubella booster
    • Pertussis booster
    • Hepatitis B
    • Hepatitis A (for travel, or at risk)
    • Chicken Pox (if not had it)
    • Polio (booster for travel)
    • Meningococcal
